Quickstart for Takers
Place your first RFQ in five steps. You will need an EVM wallet and funds on HyperCore or HyperEVM.
1. Connect your wallet
Go to app.silhouette.exchange and click Connect Wallet.
2. Deposit funds
Deposit the token you want to trade with. Your funds can sit on HyperCore or HyperEVM; settlement always returns funds to the chain you started from.
3. Request a quote
Choose an instrument, a side (buy or sell), and the amount you want to trade. Optionally set a price limit; a quote outside your limit can never win, and makers never see it.
4. Accept a quote
Makers compete for your trade during the quote window. You have two options:
- Auto-accept: the best conforming quote is accepted for you when the window closes.
- Manual: review the competing quotes and accept one yourself before the deadline.
If no conforming quote arrives, the RFQ is cancelled and any locked funds are released.
5. Track the trade
Follow the trade to settlement in your activity view. A settled trade carries the on-chain settlement transaction. See How RFQs Work for every state a trade can pass through.
